On my commute home from work I often traveled country roads and frequently passed this barn while attempting to avoid traffic. The view across the fields during the changing seasons never failed to appeal to me. I painted this landscape with the Zorn palette. In spite of the limits on color, a friend noted that the color conveys a sense of hope. Perhaps it's hope for the next harvest.
